The Airbag collective was a group of twelve artists who set up a venue for ephemeral and live art. The central idea was to build an inflatable structure which could host around 100 people. This gigantic plastic bag was inflated every Thursday evening inside an old warehouse space. Airbag was in a constant state of transition. The group worked in collaboration with both local and foreign artists in the creation of a series of performance, film, music and dance events.
