In September 2003 I began working on setting up a nonprofit organization called VisualPower. Our organization's goal is to use culture as a tool to educate and inform. Our mission is to demonstrate how art can help raise awareness on a broad range of social and political issues especially in developing nations.
The Cultural Program Committee for the XV AIDS conference accepted Visualpower’s remote controlled flying condom project.
Photos of the flying condom appeared in the New York and other newspapers worldwide as well as televised images appearing on BBC, CNN and local Thai news channels.
VisualPower has proven its effectiveness in making an impact on an international level with messages such as indifference kills.
